There's actually a faster way to hunt in the pokemon tower, have a pokemon with the ability illuminate first in your party and go to the very top floor, the encounter rate is pretty high and much faster than sweet scent

Congrats! I got mine too today! :) Latias is superior generally but if we're including shinies, Latios takes the cake. Shiny Latias is cool but man the mint green is just gorgeous on Latios. Shiny Latios > Latias > Shiny Latias > Latios
